Liz Holden, an experienced Scottish mycologist, will be leading a DGERC Fungi ID day in and around the Colvend area The event will be suitable for beginners with very basic knowledge of fungi but who are interested in taking their fungi skills a little further. Nothing too difficult, but we may cover things like taking a spore print (very useful for identifying some species) and even using some simple keys. The day will run from 10.30am to 4.00pm and include indoor and outdoor sessions. It should also be a useful next step for those who attend the free Woodland Guardians event on the Saturday 16th.
Cost: £25 per person (to cover Liz's expenses and hire of a room).
